Your images will be ready in 2–3 weeks, and you’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery of your family’s story. From there, you can choose the images you love most and create heirloom artwork, albums, and prints to enjoy in your home for years to come.
Gallery delivery
The week before your session, we’ll check in about the weather, parking, and any final details. On the day of your session, all you need to do is show up and enjoy this time together. I’ll guide you when needed, but I won’t ask your children to sit still and smile the entire time. We’ll let them move, play, explore, and be exactly who they are.

You’ll also have access to my client closet and personalized style boards to help everything feel connected without feeling overly matched.
What should we wear for the session?
If we have a DC family photography session planned and the weather isn’t ideal, we can reschedule or discuss an indoor option. I’ll always help you choose the option that makes the most sense for your family.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate for an outdoor session?
Most DC family photography sessions last about 60 minutes. This gives your family time to warm up, explore, play, and settle into the experience without feeling rushed. I’ll guide when needed, but I never expect children to stand still and smile the entire time.
How long does a family session last?
I recommend booking your DC family photo session 2–3 months in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall. This gives us plenty of time to plan the details and create a session that feels personal to your family.
