My approach to maternity photography is simple: I want your session to feel relaxed, natural, and like time spent together, not a performance. You don’t need to know how to pose, where to stand, or how to make every moment look perfect. That’s my job.
I’ll guide you when you need it, helping with movement, prompts, and small adjustments so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. But I’ll also leave space for the moments that happen naturally, like the way your partner reaches for you, the way you hold your belly, or the quiet excitement of imagining the baby you’re about to meet.
The goal isn’t to create a perfect version of this season. It’s to document the real one: the connection, the anticipation, and all the little moments that make this chapter yours. I’ll also help plan outfits for the rest of your family so everything feels natural together without spending hours searching for the perfect pieces.

Your Experience
Your images will be ready in 2–3 weeks, and you’ll receive a beautifully curated gallery of your family’s story. From there, you can choose the images you love most and create heirloom artwork, albums, and prints to enjoy in your home for years to come.
Gallery delivery
The week before your session, we’ll check in about the weather, parking, and any final details. Then all you have to do is show up, relax, and enjoy this time together. I’ll guide you when needed, but most of our time together is spent talking, walking, exploring, and enjoying this season.

Can my partner and children be included in the session?
You’ll have complimentary access to my client closet with a selection of dresses chosen to help you feel comfortable and confident during your session. I’ll also provide personalized style guidance so your outfit feels like you and coordinates naturally with your family.
What should I wear?
If we have an outdoor Northern Virginia maternity session planned and the weather isn’t ideal, we can move indoors or reschedule at no additional cost. We’ll always choose the option that allows you to feel comfortable and enjoy your experience.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate for an outdoor session?
I offer maternity sessions in outdoor locations throughout Northern Virginia or in the comfort of your own home. I’ll help you choose a location that feels like you, whether that’s a favorite place outdoors or a more personal space at home.
Where do Northern Virginia maternity photos take place?
The ideal time for a Northern Virginia maternity photo session is between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. This is usually when your belly is beautifully showing while you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy your session.
