I'm Lauren
With nearly a decade of experience teaching and working with children, I’ve spent years fostering patience, creating a relaxed environment, and letting children lead the way—all of which shape how I approach photography. I’ve learned that the best photographs often come when children have the space to be themselves. When I’m not teaching or behind the camera, you’ll find me wandering the streets of Old Town Alexandria with an ice cream cone or spending time with my two dogs, Marlowe and Pearl. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, I specialize in photographing maternity, newborn and families across the DC metro area.
